Acquiring Coles, a restricted free agent from the New York Jets, would cost the Redskins their first-round draft choice in April as well as a hefty contract but would fill the team's glaring need for a speedy wideout to lead their receiving corps. Coles agreed to a seven-year contract worth about $35 million, including a signing bonus of approximately $13 million."
