"Geeez, Mud, it was an analogy, not a literal equation. Read that again..."

Won't help.
"A man hears what he wants to hear & disregards the rest."

"If actors and musicians don't speak out, and yet they want to hang out with the Anti-bush/freedom/war crowd, and go to their back-slapping parties that rip on Bush...I quite honestly equate that with complicity.

Just in case he missed that, the first time.
Of course, you're absolutely, unequivocally correct. Again.

"Our guys are in harms way, and we have Hollywood left and Musicians United against War, etc. all in bed together, demoralizing them."

Yup.
Doesn't make much sense, does it?
Yet *some* of us would rationalize the treasonous behavior(s)?
Beyond disturbing.
More than expalins *how* the likes of a William Jefferson Blyth Clinton could be elected, then, re-elected to a second term.

"KidRock took a stand, so did Bruce Willis. They probably WILL pay a price for it, just like you do, for trying to bring klintoon to justice."

There, fixed it for ya.

Maybe what's needed is a little competition for the young man?

...say a "White" thread. ;^)

Well thanks for helpin' me out on this one, Landru.

I've been pushing Mud pretty hard on this point lately, so I think I'm gonna back off on it now. We all have our weaknesses. I'm in love with a green card carrying Swede that has a few socialistic tendacies. At least she drives a Jimmy! LOL!

And as fer the war, she is "ready to roll!"
Her dad worked for the UN, and they lived on the Gaza strip, when she was a little 'un.

The first time I ever even NOTICED KidRock's existence was when MTV or VH1 taped some tour over to entertain the troops in Europe somewheres...it was a positive first impression of the dude, no doubt. Then, I notice KidRock's got a video with him singing a duet with Cheryl Crowe-feetEyes and realize he's tellin' his fellow musicians, "This is what I believe, and I KNOW you believe otherwise...y'all wanna make music with me or not?! I'm gonna make money and feel good about MYself whether you approve or not!!"

In a Capitalist society, that is Zackley the Right attitude and I'm not gonna be surprised when some of these musicians come to, first, respect KidRock's apparent patriotism, then second, replicate it!!

"...say a "White" thread. ;^)"

You mean a "Surrender!!" thread, don't you?! White I FReegards...MUD
