Dan, Stop griping about the fact that he hasn't watched your video. Can't you see that he's busy creating? :)

Thanks for the ping, Mud. And for the moving lyrics, and the heart contained in them.

In a Wall Street Journal article a few days ago, entitled 'When Will Americans Come?,' a well-known Iraqi religious leader is quoted lamenting, '.... Just about the only people who oppose a war on the Iraqi dictator here seem to be the Western journalists who have flocked to the Irbil Towers Hotel to await its arrival. Why are the Iraqi voices still so distant for the chattering classes in the West?'

Coincidentally, that quote put me in mind of Jewel's actual 'Hands' lyrics (which you retained in your own version):

For someone must stand up for what's right, 'cause where there's a man who has no voice, there ours shall go singing.

Then I read the rest of your penetrating alternative 'Hands' lyrics and it all came together even more. (I sat here at the computer singing your words aloud to Jewel’s song, and my dog – dozing off at my feet – even seemed to like it. :)

Zealotry felled the silver twins .... and courage and resolve will rebuild, and memorialize, them.

The Presidency, 1992-2000:

Placed America in the most precariously dangerous national security position in her entire history by seeing to it that secret nuclear/defense technology made its way into the hands of America's ideological enemies.

Designated the American military as a subject of social architecture experimentation, while, at the same time, de-funding it to the point where it became questionable as to whether its original purpose (defender and protector....) could anymore even be realized.

Redefined the same American military's role from that of protector and defender of our shores, and our national interest, from outside attack, to international meals on wheels/garbage collection agency, as well as a pawn to be used indiscriminately toward the realization of a globalist ideological agenda.

Demeaned the same American military by placing it under the leadership of multi-national organizations whose motives and methods were (at best) questionable, and (at worst) evil.

Made America both the laughing stock, and the object of intense hatred, among the world community by adopting a Do as I say or I will turn your country into rubble (heretofore un-American) offensive military posture.

Allowed foreign influence in American elections to hold enough sway so as to possibly dictate the results of national races.

Handed over the sovereignty of portions of American land to globalist entities.

Steadfastly refused to acknowledge, condemn (other than with patronizing, disingenuous lip service), and root out the evil which seeks to destroy freedom, and freedom-loving people. Preferred a preoccupation with staged wars of political convenience.

The Clinton Legacy ....

The man who will clean up The Clinton Legacy, in spite of the naysayers, the foot-draggers, the panderers, the hand-wringers, the peacenik protestors, the compromisers, the UN, the French, the Germans, the Chinese, the Russians, and useful idiots the world over .... (count on it)

Yea, creatin' havok.

What'chu doing in this part of town, huh.
Not used to seeing you in the Bowery of FR, y'know.
But, I'm glad to see ya, nonetheless.

Naturally every single thing you've said is spot-on, as usual.

I especially liked your summation of Clintigula's *legacy*.
Know what I think?

...I think you'd make an excellent AG, that's what.

Why are the Iraqi voices still so distant for the chattering classes in the West?

The Iraqi people are tolerable casualties in the Left's ongoing battle to make the world un-safe for true democracy.
The Left would prefer to ignore the urgent cries for help as it only makes [insert GOP President name here] correct in his endeavors.

Your post is accurate, realistic, factual & just damn good, Joanie.
