Well, next weekend does promise to be a big one doesn't it?
I've got to admit, I'm starting to feel a little queasy. I remember when the war started in Afganistan...
I was at a Seattle Mariners game w/ with the Texas Rangers. It was the game that had been rescheduled because of the 9/11 attack.
I think everyone at the Seattle Safeco Field had the same feeling, as most everyone seemed very quiet before the game, sort of a collective 'butterflies in the stomach' moment, and a "Let's Roll" feeling all at the same time, for 45,000 people all in the same place.
And then when the Color Guard came out with the flag, and the National Anthem was being sung, many of the people had tears in their eyes.
I'll never forget that day, which seemed to take so long to get there, but when it did, we were all filled with worry and concern for our brave young men and women who were taking the fight straight to the enemy.
I imagine this time will be even more so, as when this battle starts, it's going to be an all-out assault like the world has never seen before, I believe. And while I'm confident of our victory, the initial onslaught may have many unforseen pitfalls, such as chemical, and biological attacks, etc.
We just don't know.
It's time for prayer for the troops. The time is drawing near. May God bless and protect them all.

Couldn't have said it any better, myself.
...and that's saying something.
FWIW, the headlines read of Iraqi forces in the front line areas already surrendering, because?
They *think* the war's started.
Saddam Insane's about to get a major reality check.
Aside from that?
I also noticed the shameless Liberal-Socialist (& now add, treasonous...) mediots are trying to detract the nation by diverting our attention to Iran.
...I swear these Liberal-Socialist mediots are *really* asking for it.
