Being a child in '69, I really wasn't aware of the Miracle Mets. That was the Palmer era O's. However in '73 I was well aware of the team in green and gold.

Yep...that 24-9 year that Vida Blue had was incredible, plus we had Holtzman and Dobson and Catfish fer the rotation and Rollie Fingers reinventing the Stopper role. Great fun, especially with nutty ol' Charley O. Finley stirrin' the mix!!
