That wasn't necessary intended, but it would be a good dedication. This is a major catch but we need to worry that famous Americans would be captured and held for exchange -- Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Harrison Ford, etc. Wait, that's really no problem.

Great! I read somewhere that Khalid was the one who slit Daniel's throat. (I could be mistaken.) Normally, I am against torture. I'm still not sure if it is effective given that the recipient is in a "difficult position" to say anything to get the pain to stop. However, the events of 9/11, Daniel Pearl's gruesome killing, Palestinians and Muslims who ghoulishly celebrate in the streets over murdered Jews/Westerners and the like have altered my attitudes on a whole lot of things.

Yep, he is the guy who brags about slitting his throat and about the WTC. I also find torture abhorrent, but we have to weigh it in this case against the benefit of stopping another attack that could take thousands or tens of thousands of lives. We have to get the info quickly, so whatever it takes. Hey, even our slimy friend Dirtshitz thinks that torture would be okay.
