The 50,000 count in LA was a bit tongue-in-cheek -- a large crowd was there for a marathon. The freepers and other organizations there to support the troops got many in the crowd involved, but you can't count it as a 'rally of 50,000'...

Excellent! Keep em coming. Including the Seoul one, we're at about 200,000 people!
To: Interesting Times
Anyone got an accurate count on the Los Angeles one then?

"Seoul Korea rally"
TV reported 50,000. Looks like it was awesome rally! Great picture.

Not sure... you might check on that thread.

We all know how the left looks closely at anything we do, in their efforts to discredit us. If you hadn't straightened this out, they might not have gotten the joke, and thought there were 50k FReepers in CA.
Can you imagine the seizures and conniption fits they would have had then? LOL! They would be constantly looking over their shoulders for undercover FReepers... not a bad thing, actually.

Multi-state FReeper ping!
Thank you for posting this Rally Tally thread. It helps to see just how quickly this idea has taken off all across the US.
And it gives encouragement to folks in other parts of the country to do the same thing in their hometowns. It doesn't matter how big or small, just that it is done - by the grassroots - so that all the guys and gals in uniform will know that someone in every town supports them and the job that they have sworn to do.
God Bless our men and women in the military, God Bless their families, and God Bless all the goodhearted folks who give up some of their time to show their appreciation for our troops via these rallies.

We have. You don't remember? I shook your hand at CPAC 2001 when we were introduced.
I'm not sure if I saw you at CPAC '02 and '03, though.

Ping! You guys would have a better idea than I. I was too busy fightin' antibushers to make any kind of accurate count.

I'd guess 10 or 11 of us in Greeley and 30 - 40 on the corner in Ft. Collins, including the band. But you made it to both of those too. Not sure how many were at the K99 rally in Loveland at 9AM, but it was somewhere between 50 and 100 I would say. Didn't make it to any of the 11AM Ft. Collins K99 rally at Edora Park. Did anyone else? That was the same time as the Greeley Freep, unfortunately.

Denver Rally For America 2/16 - 700 (count courtesy of local Fox News - the rally organizers estimated 1200 - I think Fox was closer)

I was at a rally here in Flori-duh on the corner of US 19 and SR 50 where some 150 people had shown up by the time I left. News crews from the St. Petersburg times were there as well as a congress critter. Predictably, there was no mention of the rally in Sunday's paper.

"TV" actually is wrong about 50,000 (in Seoul). That was the whole point of another thread when we tried to show CNN and others were under-reporting.
Most sources in Seoul have the PRO USA rally on Saturday as over 100,000.
