Okay so there were 25,000 registered runners for the L.A. Marathon and an equal number of spectators and unregistered runners downtown. I watched the whole Marathon from the front of my house. I saw hundreds of people with American flags and other symbols of patriotism. I saw hundreds of people with signs opposing the war with Iraq, and many people with both. So there were 50,000 people downtown for the L.A. Marathon. That is clear. How many people were at your rally really?

No, no, no...The number for Los Angeles is wrong...we had about 50 marchers, not 50,000. That's a mis-read of the thread information. We were in the middle of 50,000 spectators at the L.A. Marathon. However, we had one big advantage, our leader Ted Hayes. He took over the finish line crowd and took no prisoners. It was inspiring.
