This was a great rally! I heard on KOTV that 4000 people braved the cold to show their support. A fine turn-out for the Tulsa area, and more than was expected, I believe, because they had to open up the other side of the stadium for over-flow. The speakers were great, the music was very moving and a whole BUNCH of planes did a fly-over.
I didn't see any other freepers that I might recognize, but I'll be posting pictures here soon...if you were there, maybe I got you in a group shot.
Also, the article mentions some anti-war protestors...apparently about 14 showed up.
Here is a picture of my two jedis and I, with a soldier.
If anyone else was there, or took pictures, check in here!

Great turnout! We were really impressed. I didn't see you and the Jedi, but I saw another Okie FReeper waiting on the curb when we were hoofing off to our van.
Senator Inhofe was outstanding, as well as the other speakers. First time I've seen Mayor LaFortune, since we're in Broken Arrow.
I was wearing a long red coat, and trailing six little kids.
We should all have worn our tinfoil hats so we could recognize each other :-).

Congrats Tulsa. We had a great one in Cleveland today, despite the bitter cold. Glad you had a great turn out too.

Tulsa Mayor Bill Lafortune ...Is there some city ordinance in Tulsa that states that anyone elected mayor must be named "LaFortune"?
P.S. Lived in Broken Arrow for six years, really miss the place. Except for the twisters.

God bless you and your two good-lookin' little jedis! My 19 year old son accompanied me to Washington DC for the Patriots rally on Saturday! Not as large of a turnout there, but just as much heart! All these rallies - big and small - do our troops good!

Hubby and I listened to the 10:00 news. Channel 8 gave us favorable coverage. Then we turned to Channel 6 and discovered them in the middle of a good report. Afterward, we switched to Channel 2 and saw about a half a second of rally coverage so I have no idea what they said, but at least we know the rally was mentioned by the three main Tulsa stations.

Outstanding!!
My Wife's from Tulsa and when I told her she was thrilled.
Kinda funny that if the antibushers have their rallies, they claim that a majority of Americans are opposed to war, but when we have our rallies barely any of the scum show up. I guess they needed more time to phone all the rent-a-mobs in the area.
The only reason that they outnumber us in Fort Collins, there's a huge college campus there; and we all know that students who attend anti-war rallies get extra credit. Saturday, when I asked them over my trusty bullhorn, "How many of you over there are gonna get college credits for attending your little peace protest?!" Our FReepers got a real kick out of that.
