You mean like Condi Rice, JC Watts, Alan Keyes, Ward Connerly, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Collin Powell

It is interesting (and telling) that the author doesn't mention any of the above. Watching Colin Powell at the UN recently it occurred to me that he has been given more global responsibility then any other African-American in my memory, and it was real crunch-time make-it-or-break-it responsibility too. I don't recall that being mentioned on any of the news shows I watched, maybe because his competence is taken for granted or maybe he's just not liberal enough.

Wellington webb is mentioned in the article. Although I have not lived in Colorado for some time, didn't he have some skeletons in his closet, too? I remember him giving the new airport concessions to his cronies. Harold Ford may be the strongest of them all, yeah he is young and a Democrat, but he comes across extremely well and that's half the battle.

But, the DemocRAT Plantation overseers slapped him down really quick when he went for House Minority Leader, I guess he wasn't Black Liberal enough.

Ford has a problem in TN since it would be very hard to move up to Senator, Ford's best shot is to go for broke and run for Governor. If he were to win he would be in good shape for 2008 without the help of the DNC.

Greetings moneyrunner, mhking, BC FReepers, et al:

In my polling precinct, 82% of the ballot slots are un-opposed! (Illinois 7th Congressional District, Danny K. Davis)

This situation is a disgrace. We don't need money to get elected. Conservatives, as Republicans (or in Chicago, DINO's), just get your name slated upon a ballot. We need to give people a choice. For as Conservatives, we believe competition makes everything in life better.

For example, if you desire political life, and don't have a lot of money, start with a local Library Board slot. Imagine the name you can make for yourself by supporting a conservative cause, like Internet pornography filters in the public library! After one term, everyone should know your name.

Any press is good press. Just make sure they spell your name correctly. Just look at how “Sharkey” Al Sharpton spun his shameful public gaffs into a household name. (Or our shameless Senator Dick with a "B" for bin-Laden Durbin.)

Thoughts, comments?

Of course she wouldn't! Didn't you know that when a Black child is born, the hospitial automatically stamps "DEMOCRAT" on the birth certificate? (heavy on the sarcasm) At least that's the way these idiots think.
