Actually, I can't. That is what I thought was deficient in the article too. This pointy head flails and flogs and makes no headway along the lines of cogent thought. Rather typical malady amongst liberals.

The point he seems to try to make is that the marketing guys have taken over, that the political labels we all use are social "constructions," that since this has happened we're all being victimized.

In other words, the Leftists are flailing about trying to find a reason for the success of talk radio and other outlets. The best they can come up with is that the corporate marketing guys are pulling a fast one.
