A large force of IDF troops entered the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Yunis late Saturday night, witnesses said.
In the nearby settlement of Neve Dekalim, witnesses said that IAF Apache attack helicopters were seen hovering over Khan Yunis and reported hearing loud explosions and exchanges of gunfire.
Israel Radio said that an armored IDF bulldozer had hit a mine that exploded without causing any injuries.
There were no immediate reports of casualties on either side.
In recent weeks the IDF has relentlessly targeted Palestinian terror groups, in particular the Hamas, who are acting out of the Gaza Strip.
We must strengthen the hands of the IDF!
