You're right. From the way he talked, it sounded like his book was just a hastily thrown-together attempt to answer Goldberg and Coulter. Strangely enough, he claims neither of those books have anything but unsourced accusations, which anyone who has read them knows is a HUGE lie.

A survey of all editorial endorsements for Presidential and Senatorial elections over the past ten years by the country's top 100 newspapers (circulation) would settle the question of their political preference once and for all. (And anyone who is buffoonish enough to suggest that editorial endorsements do not reflect the slant of a paper's news reporting can simply be reminded of where it is that editors come from.)
I don't have the results of such a survey, but I don't think I need them to know where the numbers will fall. And the network news crowd comes from the same cesspool.
