I don't know if I agree that waiting is good... here is my rant:
it seems the longer Bush waits, the more public opinion damages his position. The more angry his opposition becomes, the less support he will have despite success in Iraq. The opposition is so upset that they will deny anything positive came out of it... if US troops found nuclear weapons in Iraq, many will deny it for the sake of their egos.
If they claim he's lying now, what makes you think they won't claim he's lying about a success in Iraq? Undeniable proof means nothing to idealogues. I believe the phrase "history is what we agree upon" applies to this. The idealogues will rewrite history to fit their view, they don't care. This is why conservatives need to avoid the public opinion spin trap! it is pointless, the key to accomplishing nothing, but letting a lot of people feel good, blah.
Bush needs to act, the longer you let these people whine, the more rooted they become in their irrationality. I think this has permanently damaged Bush, it is scary. If we have another democrat in office I will be bummed.
Go Bush Go!

I tend to agree. Waiting for permission from the communist cabals of Europe and the UN is not helping us any.
