The Sofitel Hotel took down its French flag, then coincidentally found a blow-up union rat on its doorstep yesterday.

March 1, 2003 -- A French hotel chain - trying to weasel out of a backlash over Iraq - has stopped flying the nation's flag in front of two New York properties - a "cowardly" move, say the hotels' patrons.

I see by them taking their flag down: They aren't proud of their country & gutless. I think the french need to be added to the "Axis of Evil".

It shouldn't take more than a few weeks following the liberation of the Iraqi people for US and coalition troops to learn the real reason why France is protecting Iraq's brutal regime. France is up to her hairy armpits in illegal technology transfers and business deals with Saddam.

Quant à je la France peut aller la vis lui-même.

Used to be you had to at least shoot in the general direction of a Frenchman to get him to surrender. Now all it takes is an angry glance. Sacre blue!
