The biggest reason to RECALL Davis, it that he can't "recall" ever having been a private citizen!!!

If they impeach him, can they find a Republican who would want the job knowing there is a $35 billion deficit and many Californians expecting their money or government benefits anyway?

As we step on Saddam's dead body, and dance on his grave! As Kid Rock said about Saddam....

Well, in Shakespeare's times "corse" was another word for "corpse". They also called whores laced mutton, jerks chuffs, a cloud a rack, and a nasty piece of bread a cobloaf.

I live in the belly of the beast here in California, and I certainly agree that regime change is in order. Although I'm not of voting age (and therefore cannot circulate or sign a petition), I'll do what I can to get that scheister out of Sacramento.
I think San Diego talk show sensation Roger Hedgecock would be a good replacement. He was mayor of San Diego for some time anyway.

"I keep waiting for an e-mail and checking the web site for the petition but nothing yet. I thought today was the last day that the Sec. of State had to certify it. " It was!
It turns out that Ted Costa's people who were speaking about the date didn't know that Costa had NOT turned the sample petition and proof of advertisement in a major newspaper of record until MONDAY!
So that sets the 10 day clock (calendar - not business days) from Monday onwards.
I hope for Ted's sake that his petition complies with the law - otherwise we are going to have to do something to get the petition approved.

Frmr. Secretary of State Bill Jones, Senator Tom McClintock, Frmr. CA State Treasurer Matt Fong - three names I have heard mentioned for Governor on the GOP side. I could live with either of the three.
I personally hope Simon and Riordan stay out of this. I am cool with Simon for Senate and Riordan doing his newspaper. Their presence in a recall election might distract from keeping the attention on the need to recall Davis.

I hope you're meaning LAST Monday!
He had better fade away and let the adults run the show!

I agree. While I like Simon, him being in it would only be another distraction (especailly since, Simon did...kinda blew it the first time around [though it wasn't easy for him with the media and Davis' warchest against him]). And Riordan...:-/ Stick to papers Riordan.
Now, the other candidates mentioned, all fine by me.

Good points on Riordan and Simon. Personally, I could never support Riordan.
I wouldn't mind seeing Simon as Attorney General in California prosecuting some certain politicos for RICO charges and other devious crimes.. But Senator in 2004 or 2006 would work too!
Both BoXer and Di-Chi-fi need to be turned out. They do not speak for all the Californians or at least the sane ones, by any means. They still have their heels solidly planted in the demRatic camp while their toes are in the Homeland crowd.
We need to be careful who we run against them. Rice 2004 for Gov,,, No,,, Senate 2004 maybe,,,2006 Senate yes,,, 2008,2012,,, White House
Re; Riordan's paper? How is it?

I'll do what I can to get that scheister out of Sacramento. If your in school you can start there. Then, if they disagree with your intents, do as they do. SUE !! Sue them for 1st amendment rights violations.
That's just my opinion, I might be wrong.
