This one is a sure loser from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. See ya at the big house when Cert is granted.

FLASH: The 9th Circuit Declares the Declaration of Independence null and void, given that it cites God and God-granted rights as the basis for Independence.

So, they refused to hear it. That leaves the numbers voting one way or the other in doubt, but presumably it's a majority of these meatheads in favor of the original decision, or a consensus that avoids putting them on record again.

I have no problem with the under God part. The to the flag should be replaced with " to the Constitution" tho.

I wonder what part of:
Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
that stupid court didn't notice.

...reconsider its decision that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional because of the phrase "under God." That was not the decision.

They had their chance to correct their asinine decision, so now they will just have to be outed as the hate-America radicals that they are. The 9th Circus Court should be dissolved since its the most tyrannical and unlawful court in the nation. Its the most overturned court in America. One year it had 27 out of 28 court decisions reversed by the SCOTUS. One also has to ask that since they have the great majority of their decisions overturned because they are unlawful, unconstitional, and pawns of a radical left agenda, made its time to disband the court since they are cheating tax payers.
To: Iron Eagle
So they upheld a case that was bogus and a lie from the beginning?
The 9th circuit it a COMPLETE JOKE!

If the public schools will not allow the pledge including "under God", then we have to get our kids out of the public schools.
Really, why ever would anyone put his kids into the hands of people who mock everything you believe in?
My daughter is having her go-rounds with the schools; she refused to sign a "contract", a promise to be a good parent, which is sent out to every parent. It comes out of Jesse Jackson's organization. As a result she has been steadily harrassed to the point that she has now, reluctantly, decided to pull them from the public school altogether. Fortunately there are a number of private schools in the area to choose from, and in particular she has chosen a church-sponsored school that seems to be very good. Its expensive, but after a certain point, money no longer is an issue.
She has had her fights with them for years, refusing to let her kids take part in sensitiviy training sessions that conflicted with her beliefs (they start wanting to teach kids about homosexuality very young these days) but she really crossed some kind of a line when she refused the Jesse Jackson letter. They are after her now, and she needs to move quickly.
Most people just sign it, without knowing or caring what they sign. She didn't initially know it was from PUSH, she was initially just offended at the idea of "promising" to the school district to be a good parent. It was only later that she found out it was a PUSH (Jesse Jackson) program.

"The court said that phrase in the pledge was an endorsement of God." I don't know what it is about that whole northwest region - from S.F. all the way up to canada (include canada).
Totally devoid of godliness - you can feel the darkness in Seattle and S.F. - it just hangs in the air.
Time for good USSC action. Pray for Dubyas reelection - two more USSC judges will be replaced over the next six years.
Pray for God's wisdom, favor, and guideance on our President and supernatural persuasion to be vested in the Godly members of the USSC.
And support Jay Seculow is you can spare some change.

The reason this court refuses to hear it again is that they have already made fools of themselves, so why overturn their own decision and show that they also have no backbone?
This will get tossed at a higher level.

the federal Consitution forbids public schools or other governmental entities from endorsing religion. No, the Consitution does NOT forbid anyone from speaking about God. In fact, the Constitution PROTECTS our freedom to speak OF God. Speaking of God does not endorse any religion; they must prove to which religion saying "God" does endorse. Is it the Jewish God, the Baptist God, the Catholic God, the Jehovah Witness God, the Mormon God, the Muslim God, the Pentecostal God? The Seventh Day Adventist God? Or some other religion I left out?
