Liberals can rightly point to Mister Rogers and Sesame Street as two of the great successes of Public Television. It's painful to imagine those shows broken up by commercials for action figures and sugary cereal. One form of Big Government I didn't mind, especially considering the swill that passes for children's TV on every other channel. Conservatives can point out that this kind, Godly man, will probably be the last minister ever to receive air-time at tax-payer expense.
