I'm at a loss. Mr. Rogers was a dear friend when I was a child, I always enjoyed visiting with him and all of his neighborhood friends.

The world will be a much colder place without the warmth and genuine affection that Fred Rogers had for the children and for mankind in general. Even though I have no children, the emptiness left in the world of the young will never be filled and I am saddened.

God be with the family of this good man and may they know peace in the same measure as the love he gave to us all.
