I hadn't thought of Mr. Rogers in such a long time, yet I had tears in my eyes after I heard on the radio that he had passed away. I grew up watching him. I remember fighting with my older brother over the tv because of him. He wanted to watch Gilligan and I just had to watch Mr. Rogers.

Everything i've ever heard about Mr. Rogers is that he was the same person in real life as he was on TV, just as pleasant. Few like him are left.
