My roomate in college did an internship at PBS, and Mr. Rogers was one of her mentors. I met him on a couple of occasions when he was here. He was a kind and generous man. He had so much to teach the world. I am so sad that my children will not grow up with him as I did. Thank goodness for reruns. At least they will see him in that way. He was greatly loved and will be missed. Thanks for everything Fred, God's speed to you.
