I'm sure some on FR will applaud it.
To some of the more impressionable quackspeakers on this forum, we're all "flaggots".

I've long been a pre-WWII-era reenactor, though offering an accurate portrayal of a Finnish ski trooper of the Talvisota Winter War of 1939-40 resulting from the Soviet invasion of Finland in November of 1939 can be challenging for those in the Memphis environs given the lack of probable annual snowfall, among other difficulties.
Accordingly, I've to date avoided signing on with one of the far more common Clocal; Civil War reenactment units, particularly since the better ones are remarkably picky about maintaining correct standards and the most likely accurate impression of those they portray, some to the extent of eating as did those poor half-starved grunts and otherwise living under the miserable conditions they did, even when noone's watching.
No more. I cannot tell you which of the units I'll be associated with yet, but that is now surely a-coming. If *those people* are against it, it must surely be the right thing to do. You reckon the Confederacy can use the services of a very recent Finnish Immigrant? Haake Paaale!
