I think we might do better to focus on devising an appropriate punishment for the judge. That whackjob is still sitting on the bench, meting out his idea of appropriate sentences to a parade of violent criminals.

YEah! Lose his darn job. I didn't look to see what state that judge resides in, so I don't know what the procedure is for appointing judges. I know that here in missouri, when judges are up for 'vote'.....most people don't have a CLUE who they are voting for because there are no campaigns. The people who know judges personally from cases or attys are in "the know" so to speak. There has GOT to be a better system than this.
