Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.) jokes that if any more candidates for his party's nomination enter the race, they'll have enough for a baseball team.
It wouldn't be a very good team, however. None of the candidates are willing to play anywhere but in left field.

Wood took this game into his own hands with some clutch hitting. I thought the Cubs were doomed when they didn't score with the bases juiced in an earlier inning.

I'd love to see the Cubs and anyone in the series. I like the playoffs and the Series because the games mean something. Otherwise, baseball, like pro football in the regular season is just dreadful.
