Oh come on, he must have more time(a year at least) to prove that americans are stupid enough to watch and listen to any of his crap, just as the inspectors must have all the time (at least 12 years) they need to dig up iraq and find some acorns.True. The French take plenty of time to allow their pigs to root out truffles, too.

"I think MSNBC felt that the way to beat Fox was to do a liberal version of what Fox was doing and Phil was a good person to do that," said Steve Friedman, former producer of NBC's "Today" and CBS' the "Early Show." "I don't know if they were really committed to that."
Talk about delusionary thinking...isn't this guy implying that it failed because it wasn't allowed to be liberal enough?

Put Phil opposite Jerry or Oprah and he'll probably do well. After all, his style of eye rolling, head bobbibg and mike waving is much more suited to morning and afternoon mindless dribble than it is to news and information dissemination.
People who work all day want to see people sit and discuss issues, not emote like high school actors. If you can't figure that out, you sure shouldn't be running a network.
