ACTUALLY, this is brilliant. Shoot the warning shot across their bow. Then if they continue their demoratic nonsense, hit them when it hurts. The day after our troops cross into Iraq, start the 24/7 marathon. The Republicans can preach about how great Estrada is, how wonderful our troops are, hell read press reports from the front line about the WMD's they find (that Sadamn and the demorats say Iraq doesn't have). Think about it. If they are tied down 24/7, then they can not get in front of the cameras during the war and be the glory hounds that they always try to be with their me-tooism. If you do this Senator Hatch, you will win my vote to be on the USSC.

I will be emailing my senators urging them to continue the 'good work' (wink-wink, nudge-nudge) that they are doing by filibustering the Estrada nomination now that it appears that the Pubs are serious about springing the trap that was laid. The longer the Dems filibuster, the worse they will look. My fear is that they are only offering token resistance to appease their base.

I hope CSPAN covers it 24/7 as well...time to get out the soda and popcorn...my husband and I watched it when they first started in back on the 13th and we laughed when the senate president kept having to interrupt and remind them to not say "you" but rather "the senator from Utah" or "the senator from Indiana"...then Hatch got really worked up after Durbin opened his pie hole and even said "zip, nada" in response to something Durbin stated that was wrong!
