He started out on the wrong foot by being so mean to Anne Coulter, and it was downhill all the way.

I didn't see ann coulter and donahue, but I DO REMEMBER what a fool he made of himself years ago when he had George Will on his daytime show. He minced and pranced around. Threw his arms about like he was nuts. He kept rubbing his head and pacing. He looked like he was mental. George Will just sat back and let him make a fool out of himself. It was amusing.

Coulter!? Did you see how he treated Chris Matthews? I can't stand Matthews, but Donahue's treatment made me feel sorry for him.

Somebody forgot to prep Phil and his staff that the demography for an 8PM TV "current events" show is quite different from
what is typical for anything before 6PM.

Heck, nobody bothered to tell the know-it-alls at MSNBC programming that the show was so badly out of step with
expectations, that it was doomed to failure if they let Phil continue to speak with his head stuck where neither the Sun or
common sense and courtesy could shine?

You're right. The Coulter interview was ridiculous. I probably watched parts of the show less than a dozen times,
usually from a heads up at FR.

I thought Phil belatedly tried to turn a new leaf with Dennis Miller.

Too little and overly late.
