"When Boortz was on, Donahue made some passing comment that Cuomo didn't make it in radio due to poor marketing and support. I expect this'll soon be his excuse, as well."

You're probably right. Donahue would be wrong though, I remember when MSNBC announced hiring Donahue. The executives at MSNBC moved Donahue to the prime spot at 8pm EST. They announced that Donahue was going to be the centerpoint of their revitalization strategy. They were going to build their network around Donahue.

Will these executives, who came up with this idiocy stay on and make additional idiotic decisions?

I am Danny Thomas's son-in-law and Danny was an Arab, my wife is an Arab, no one should be suprised that I'm pro-Saddam Hussein.

I guess that makes plenty of sense since Saddam has been butchering and gassing mainly Arabs to date.

On the other hand, several Arab nations have already offered assistance to the U.S. in the current effort!! What was your excuse again??

Another RAT strikes out. On-air Liberalism does not work and never will. They can only resort to character assassination and worthless diatribes. Good riddance to a true leftist imbecile--Done-ahue! Now FOX has put Alan Colmes on air with a new Fox Radio program. Any bets as to how long he will last?

Alan =Terminally Bor----ing!

"He can work for NPR; they don't have to care about the market or being boring."

First, he would have to assume a voice more like Liberman's to work NPR, but I think he could pull it off.

Second, the suspenders would play well on PBS tv here in the Detroit area. Our liberals are so full of cra* they would think it was a sign he has become a sage in his old age.

Third, if he went on PBS tv, rather than NPR, he could do his "eye roll thing" in front of all 10 or 15 viewers like he did during the diane sawyer interview after 911 on the early show.

Fourth, it would be good to see him fail again, but then I'm just mean.

"Danny Thomas was a Lebanese Christian."

Look up Lebanese in the dictionary, Lebanon is an Arab country.

Azziz, Saddam's right hand man is a Christian/Arab. Lets not lose sight of where loyalties are and they aren't vis a vis the U.S.A.

I'd like Norah and/or Kelly O'Donnell to go to Fox. That way I won't have to be channel switching. They would match up well with Patti Anne (woo-hoo!!), Laurie, E.D., Kiran, Brigette, etc, etc.

Hey, wait a minute! M.A.N.T.I.S. wasn't at all bad, not to mention that it starred Carl Lumbly, John Parker from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension... Heck, Hello, Larry and My Mother the Car would be preferable to Donahue.

just saw msnbc's rate card

LOL! For a minute I thought you were serious. Now I'm ROFL at $13 for a 60-second spot!

MSNBC must have done the Donahue cancellation because they just spent a bundle on revamping their image slogan (for the second time in about 6 months) plus they're anticipating a need to spend big bucks on WAR COVERAGE and probably some hefty "compensation package" payment for Dona-who.

Did you see Rosie on Donahue last night. It is pitiful to be that stupid. It isn't as if she's a young teen full of idealism, she's a grown woman with children to protect.
