I agree with the principle. Its the application of it in this particular situation that happens to suck.

I had a teacher who was a former police captain. He told the class about discovering a building that he thought was a meth lab. He was certain that it was booby trapped and to dangerous for his officers to enter.

When the students asked what he did about it he replied, "I called the fire department."
