Gods and Generals is one of the most inspirational films out of Hollywood to date. It is blessed with excellent flow, four hours flew by, excellent image and sound and some absolutely astounding acting. This film is a classic and I hope that all who love this country will take the four hours out of their schedules to celebrate our heritage.

I totally agree . All was done superbly well. I do believe that Stephen Lang's portrayal of General Jackson was of award winning calibre. Oh, I forgot, the people who give out such things probably never read a book and think this was "made up stuff" to make the South look good.
