I'm afraid we cannot be there on Saturday, Taxman. I really wish we could participate in more rallies in DC - we've only done a few. Sometimes we can make the long drive down (or fly), but often it's impossible. We'll be there in spirit, I assure you.

In the meantime, RaceBannon has arranged a "Support Our Troops" rally of our own up here on Saturday, March 8: INFINITE FREEP: RALLY FOR THE TROOPS MARCH 8, MANCHESTER CT. We hope to be at this one.

We can't take credit for that clever sign... I believe the credit goes to either (or both) kristinn and/or Doctor Raoul. We just happened to be pictured above holding the same sign, LOL. (zelig and I actually came prepared with about four different signs!) We were in a prime viewing spot that night - that sign got *lots* of attention.

I sure wish I could tell you we'll be in DC next Saturday, but I'm afraid we cannot. Our trips to DC are far too rare, unfortunately. One of these days, we'll join you and the DC FReepers for one of those "major" rallies! I'm sure there will be many more, as long as the "unwashed" are around.

Best of luck with the rally on Saturday... we'll certainly be there in spirit. Nice plug from Sean Hannity and B-1 Bob today, huh? :-)

Sorry, FTH, I didn't catch this post of yours (hours ago). I believe there is a thread about this somewhere. If I find it, I'll ping you to it. To be honest, I didn't hear much more except Sean's announcement of the Patriots Rally for this Saturday, March 1, in DC. I believe he said that Bob Dornan will be one of the speakers at the rally, and that the rally was organized by FreeRepublic.com.
