I'm awed by your wisdom. Though unable to express it as eloquantly as yourself, it's been plainly obvious to me for some time that the root of all Leftist thinking is Hedonism, or self-worship. I have only limited knowledge of ancient cultures, but my understanding of idolatry is that it was (and still is) rooted in gratification of human wants.

Whether it's public discourse or just conversation with ordinary people, whenever someone starts spewing Leftist Doctrine (or venomous hatred of George W. Bush, it's become synonymous), I have a sense of something ugly and vaguely demonic.

I assumed it was only me, as I'm often frustrated that no one else sees this.
