Im writing to congratulate you on your all-Spanish commercial during the Grammy Awards.
Being a fifth generation American, I dont speak any Spanish, so the commercial made no sense to me and made me feel alienated in my own country.
Apparently, P&G has decided to forsake the 240 million Americans who dont speak Spanish in favor of the 40 million who do.
You can rest assured that neither my family nor I will ever buy another P&G product again. Bounty Paper Towels, Pampers, Cheer Detergent, Secret, and Ivory Dish Detergent are all on our black list. This coming from a consumer who remained loyal to the P&G brands through the moon and stars controversy.
Further, Ill be circulating this letter amongst friends and family as well as posting it on the Internet.
Good luck selling to your International Market that resides here in my countrys borders, but has chosen not to learn English. Im sure youll be a fantastic failure.
