If there is a deadline at all, I think it will be on the UN to act on an 18th Resolution and clear out the inspectors. Not a deadline to Iraq.

I agree with your version of what Condi Rice said. I listened carefully to her response when Tony Snow asked her, "One month?" She simply repeated, "Weeks, not months."
I took it to mean less than a month, but I suppose 7 weeks or less would also qualify as "weeks, not months." Months being plural means anything less than 8 weeks fits within that qualifier.
Wasn't it last Sunday that Condi said this?
