Its tough when you shift to lurker mode for so long. Hit reply to wrong person and forget to change tag line from an old article.

I hope no on is hurt, but that's FUNNY!

I just wonder why they would be so descriptive as to the problem. Usually, stations just say they are experiencing technical difficulties, please stand by. Unless they are trying to get someone's attention? *insert wild speculation here* to maybe alert authorities that there is some other problem in the building unrelated to fire? I hope I'm wrong.

Smoke set off the alarm, sprinklers went off -- back on the air now.

OMG!!! This is the second time today!!! This morning they were stopped on 395 going the opposite direction!!
Multiple time dispersed attacks must be underway.....Tin foil hat on and heading to my bunker for a cold dinner of spam and vienna sausages.....

They're back on the air, the anchors say the alarm went off because *stay with me here* a disabled car out on the street was parked under the building's air intake. The smoky air filtered into the building and set off the smoke detectors and the water sprinklers in a back room the news station. The FD responded and shut off the alarm and sprinkler. Tragedy averted.
