Seed firm says USDA regs are delaying orders.

After a couple of months of crappy weather in VT., I was kinda looking forward to getting some seeds started under the grow lights this weekend but the seeds I ordered 2/11 aren't here yet.

The customer service rep at Vesey Seeds in PEI, Canada says that they were shipped on 2/12 but "due to new USDA regulations" they probably won't arrive for another week and a half.

I've asked them to specify which reg. is responsible but no response yet.

Anybody have a clue what's going on.

In past years, seeds would be delivered in 3 to 4 days.

"Now, these little round seeds here, son, what are those?"

"Wouldn't be any of that Canadian wacky tabaccy, now, would it?"
