To: School Administration
We, the undersigned, are greatly concerned about Dearborn student Bretton Barber being forbidden to wear an anti-Bush shirt. Asking our students to be politically aware should go hand in hand with allowing them to voice their opinions.
Sincerely,

Don't worry. I'm not "all worked up." I did read the comments and they're hilarious. In fact, I'm planning to sign the petition myself.

How abut an anti-Mohammad T shirt, one with a picture of an Arab looking guy with a turban and "Mohammad Sucks!"?

It's fine for a student to express his political opinion. But "Bush is an international terrorist" is plainly a lie. Why would you support someone's right to spread a lie? How silly.
To: Clara Lou; SirFishalot
And I'm glad to see that you think it's silly too.

wow... I had so much fun, I must have signed it 6-8 times... wasted nearly a 1/2 hour of work.. ROFL

actually -- I think the kid should have been allowed to wear the shirt -- but so should the kid who had the "Straight Pride" shirt and was asked to take it off, same thing with the girl who wore a "Pro-Life" shirt to school and had to turn it inside out or be sent home -- turn-about is fair play
