James Earl Jones, a.k.a. "the voice of God". He has such a beautiful, deep, mellow speaking voice.

Jones has a great voice. But my vote for "best voice" of all time goes to Richard Burton.

"James Earl Jones, a.k.a. "the voice of God". He has such a beautiful, deep, mellow speaking voice." When I used to work doing commercial voice-overs for some of our local radio stations the tech guys in the studios taught me alot about getting the quality of my voice to what they called the "Deep Brown Sound."
I can remember them using Darth Vader aka James Earl Jones as the example of the perfect voice-over voice.
And NO "deep brown sound" is not some racial reference it is just a term some in the audio recording industry use. Also, another term used is "round pear shaped tones" and James Earl Jones has got that going on also.
The man has near perfect diction and his voice quality is beyond belief. And to this that he is a top notch actor and it gets me to wondering why he isn't up for more awards in the Hollyweird Community. Well now we know.
Mr. Jones is not one of THEM and thus his acting career must not get recognition. Tis a shame because he is truly a gifted actor.
