Why didn't we just take it after we kicked their butts out of Kuwait 12 years ago?UN would not authorize the conquest mission. We were only there to remove Iraq from Kuwait. Any looting of the oil then would have been too obvious. Now, we at least have the WMD excuse but it isn't working all that well. UN knows its about oil and is defying Bushie to go it alone.
