Thanks very much for your tour de-force on "consistent with the Word" concept of Creation. It and your exposition of LQG are very interesting read. It is indeed fool hardy to interpret the Bible literally, particularly in regards to the proper scaling of time in the chronology of creation. I believe that at the time of Gods revelations on how he created the Universe and Man, the concept of a hundred thousands years did not exists, much less likely a billion. The people at that time did not have the foggest understanding of what a million years means. Modern Math. and Physics of course change everything.
My understanding about LQG is that it still envokes the concept of Space-Time, so does the String Theory. As such, both losses meaning outside of Space-Time, bence not pure logic, thought or spirit. On the other hand the Spin Networks concept is supposed not to require the existence of Space-Time for it's validity. Since God is the Word, and God is beyound Space-Time does the Spin Neworks concept offer a peek on the nature of the Almighty? Is it the link between Space-Time, and the Spirit? If it turns out that it is, it would be the biggest thing since creation. Ahhh, to get a glimps of God before I die, I would be the happiest man ALIVE!

Thank you so very much for your reply! Indeed, it would be exciting to be alive on the next major breakthrough - especially one that would peek over the wall (firmament to me) between the physical and spiritual realms. Would you mind posting your views to the "Freeper Views on Origins?" I think the collection may prove helpful to lurkers wanting to get a picture of all the different viewpoints.
I've been saying around here for a long time that "space and time are part of the creation and not something in which the Creator exists." Our difference of opinion on dimensions is minor by comparison to our agreement on that point!
