Been there. done that. Went with a white Corian counter top.
The down-draft grill is great. Being able to grill indoors is a great convienence, but the grill is not versatile enough for all grilling needs. Example: searing steaks at close high flame. But the grill is still a very nice addition to the household. If anyone goes this way, make sure to get the optional burner set to interchange w/grill.
