"The war on terrorism will be won by the professionals"

This is perhaps one of the most blatantly arrogant statements ever uttered by a federal bureaucrat.

The war on terrorism will be won only if every American is keenly aware of his/her role in fighting it. Keep in mind a truck driver spotted the car with the two snipers. The truck driver notified the authorities who had previously let the guys go on a number of occasions. The professionals were chasing their tails and the truck driver found the murderers.
