I haven't heard of Wal-Mart displacing churches or other commercial buildings by eminent domain thuggery.

Come to Missouri. It is a VERY rare event when Wal-Mart does not use condemnation and Tax Increment Financing to put up one of their boxes.

That's too bad. I don't have a problem with a municipality offering tax incentives to a corporation, actually I encourage the practice. Eminent domain is another issue.
