It's fall might be even quicker than that. I watched an expose on Iran about two months ago (maybe longer). The younger generation in Iran is busting out of the "old ways". There was a particular shot I found interesting, the roof tops are littered with small sattellite dishes. The younger generation is seeing what the rest of the world is seeing and saying "I wanna get me some of that".
The sat dishes are "illegal" in Iran, but their all over none the less.Brittany Spears and 'Nsync are going to be the downfall of the mullahs...go figure.
