Chirac is not only undermining the war against terror, he is become one of the terrorists' primary protectors. He needs to be dealt with accordingly.

Someone on the radio this morning said that France's main function in the world today is keeping a dead language alive.

Virutally half of my family is missing (murdered by the Nazis), in part, because of French perfidy and appeasement of the Nazis. They haven't changed. Unlike most people in Europe, the French did not deserve liberation.

. There's a typo in this article. It should have read "....jeopardizing their chances to return to the Dark Ages".

"It is not really responsible behavior," he told a news conference. "It is not well brought up behavior. They missed a good opportunity to keep quiet." Oooooh, the irony, Monsewer Chirac!

Shout this from the rooftops in every Eastern European capital! They need to know how they are viewed by the old powers of Europe!

Hard to say which takes the greater toll on the french intellegentsia--the venereal diseases or the liver failure, not that they are mutually exclusive.

"It is not well brought up behavior. They missed a good opportunity to keep quiet."I hope every single smelly, bratty protester in Europe this past weekend sees or hears this line, over. And over. And over. Because that is what's going to happen to them if the USA ever falls apart: Twenty four hours a day of their leaders telling them it's a good time to keep quiet, while making sure the gun holster on their belt is unmissable.

Are there no limits to French arrogance?
What I can't believe is that it's the USA that gets tagged as "unilateralist" and "arrogant".
France may soon stand alone as the sole European appeasement faction.
