Paris is like a whore, from a distance she seems ravishing, you can't wait until you have her in your arms. Five minutes later you feel empty, disgusted with yourself. You feel tricked.

I don't purchase french items anymore, not the cheese, not the wine.... what the hell is the "peuvent" and "fautre"?
To: Gamecock
you also probably have a pretty severe case of the crabs...
they don't shave... "down there" in france, or so I have been told.
not the cleanest women in the world.
I have also heard much about their massive accumulations of pigeon and poodle crap on everything... they don't clean it up.
Britain needs to close that tunnel... methinks.
To: Robert_Paulson2
I will never buy from the French again, not the cheese nor the wine. They can all go _____. (In other words, I don't know what "fautre" is either. But I know it's bad. :-)

I think this "surrender monkey" business is getting a little out of hand. It's all good fun but I think it obscures the fact that the French government is acting out of self-interest.
France's exreme nativism seems to getting ignored to. It really doesn't become a nation which is held up as an example by the left to be so anti-multicultural doe sit?

Yes! We must target French owned companies. Here are a few that I found:
French companies
L'Oreal - hair,skin, cosmetics - US subsidiary is Cosmair: L'Oreal
Peugot & Renault - automobiles
Universal Studios - TV, movies & music - acquired in 2002 by the Vivendi Corp of France: Vivendi Universal
computer games by VU: Vivendi Universal Computer Games
Limoges - fine porcelain gifts and collectors boxes
Groupe Danone - Danon Yogurt / Evian Water: Groupe Danone
Fina - gas & oil products: Total Fina Elf
I did not know about Universal Studios or Fina. No gas from Fina stations and nothing from Universal (movies, music, theme park, etc.)

Hey, here's a new one:
Q: How do you get the French to attack?
A: Turn your back on them.

Why?
The smae reason the fired on US Troops en route to Kill Hitler.
Same reason they would not let US fly over France enroute to get Khadafi after he blew up a TWA plane with US Citizens on board.
They are mine and my families enemy.
We should dump all the WMDs we find in Iraq on Paris.

I'll have you know that I find that to be an extremely offensive statement. As an art lover, I feel that we should get the artwork out of the Louvre first. I'll have you know I find that French Impressionist era CRAP that they call "art" offensive! Just leave that stuff behind ok?

My daughter was going to take a trip to France this Summer with her High School French class. With the events of recent weeks, she's had second thoughts and decided not to go. I'm cancelling even though I forfeit some of the fees. Actually, I'm quite relieved that she's not going and that I won't have to send any of my $$ to support the modern day French Resistance.

And you called me a school marm???? Please!
The difference between the French and Americans: Biblical Morals starting with our revolutions. We will never see eye to eye nor will we ever please France until the anti-Christian groups finish what they started in de-Christianizing America.

Petain was certainly a political whore for Hitler.... but his name does not mean 'whore'.
Petain was a monster -- the sort of monster like Clinton -- a man willing to sell out his nation for a sex act in a washroom.

Actually, my dear Barnacle, there is quite a Catholic renewal and revival going on among young people -- much to the elite's horror.

Continued defiance would launch France on a long diplomatic war which it knows, deep down, it can never win. The veto will stay unplayed, to be brandished another day. Steer Poop. They've gone to far to back down now. Given the chance, I believe they will cast a veto. They can't back down now, because the drones they call citizens would be outraged.

When the French rejected Bastiat, we had nothing left in common with them. 1789 confirmed this. FYI (but I'm sure you already know this, if you know Bastiat), Bastiat wasn't born until 1801.
And since the US has essentially rejected everything Bastiat stood for . . yes, we still have a lot in common with the French.
