vince guaraldi became a major favorite of mine after i learned he did the peanuts soundtrack for most of the cartoons,although ive never had a chance to listen to his non peanuts stuff(father has it all on vinyl)

Guaraldi is pretty commonly available on CD. A lot of his work is very different from the tunes he did for 'Peanuts', although that remains my favorite musically.

scarlet rivera? hmm ill have to look into it. Scarlet Rivera did a vinyl LP in 1978 or so that was simply titled 'Scarlet Rivera'. That is the one I finally found.
Cost was under ten bucks, including shipping.
