[history]
U.S. intelligence agencies say Osama bin Laden's oldest son, Sad, is in Iran along with other senior al Qaeda terrorists, as Iranian military forces have been placed on their highest state of alert in anticipation of a U.S. attack on Iraq, according to intelligence officials.
Sad bin Laden was spotted in Iran last month, according to officials familiar with intelligence reports. Sad is believed to be a key leader of the al Qaeda terrorist network since U.S. and allied forces ousted the ruling Taliban militia in Afghanistan.

I have no doubt that he was a communist and was later bought out by the super rich Opecker Islamofacist thugs.
He is still sympathetic to Castro and NK's tryant leader.
He hates GW and what GW stands for, which is what most of us stand for.
Carter would stab GW in the back with glee and no compulsion.

This post was meant for you. I accidently hit the wrong reply key.
On the surface that may seem tame, but that's only a start. If killing terrorists and their families doesn't work then I would turn the whole area into a glass parking lot.

Iran and its murdering mullahs are the mother land of the current hate America terrorism movement. Yes, gramps. But don't forget the well-spring: Saudi Arabia Whabbism. In the end game, Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia must all stand down or fall to our might.

The Persians are looking forward to this day.

I think that if Iraq, Iraq and Syria have legitimate regime change, you will see the Saudi family really whacking their Wahhabi Death Cult Mullahs.
If not Saudi Arabia can be dissolved and split up like Iraq will be.

>>Who's next? Question answered.
I expect it depends on how jumpy Iran gets. If they lie low, it may be that there's a pause to look East and deal with the NKs, before dealing with the 3rd member of the (overt) Axis of Evil.

Your reporting on Iran has been great, thank you.
Do you think we are influencing events there covertly?
To: MLedeen
It has taken the intel guys a year to catch up...
Wonderful to see you here;I have admired your writings for years. I think the intel guys knew as well.Unfortunately the filters of bureaucracy more than likely slowed down any alarms.Would not want to point out the left behinds who are now Senior Exectuive Service as opposed to the low level political appointees they began as .

When we kill about 5 levels of the Murdering Mullahs of Iran, the good people in Iran will handle the rest like Mussolini and his facists were handled at the end of WWII! I sure hope so. I'd love to see Iran's govt. and mullahs get whacked so that the people can step up and do what's right.
Terrorists are such idiots. If they're God's chosen ones, then why do all the terrorist states have a 3rd world standard of living? They rationalize it by saying that they're poor because they're not materialistic like the evil west. So I guess the desire to not like in a sh--hole is materialistic and evil. How do they explain their leaders looting the national resources to live in palaces of immense wealth while their people starve?
To: Grampa Dave
A great story. I believe she is correct- and that she and her family will one day return to Iran.

It sure wasn't Billy Beer. It seems there was a reason given at the time, but I can't remember what it was...
If you will remember, the CIA first caught President Carter's brother Billy recieving a $250,000 payment from Khadafy in Libya, however, as soon as that scandal broke - Jimmy's friends in Iran invaded our Tehran embassy and knocked Billy's scandal story completely out of the news. To this day the public still hasn't been told why a Communist-Islamic in Libya paid the President's brother a Quarter of a Million bucks...
