Looks like the peaceniks will not be getting the kind of coverage they want. Really. I tuned in to CNN about 10 minutes ago and they're covering the demonstrations in Japan, England, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, etc. and now showing crowds in NY listening to Susan Sarandon. How did these people get so organized?

CNN now showimg the unwashed with the caption "Voices of Dissent." Haven't seen any coverage of the seditionists on Fox in the past hour.

Bump for NYC and other patriots!

They were organized by the same groups that paid big money for Superbowl ads. Look to the DNC and that's where you'll find the ANSWER...

Organized? Did you ever look at the websites of these groups? They have millions of dollars that they are using for the peaceniks. They are able to rent buses, trains, etc. They groups that support these peacenik organization have tons of money and give it freely to them. Even religious groups give money to these organizations. They are gettin money from all over the world Not just the U.S. The news groups are not covering it as much as the peaceniks want. Remember CSPAN covered the rallys that Hollywierd put together for the whole day. This time they are not even covering it at all. CNN and MSNBC are covering it but they are giving it about 5 to ten minutes a piece and then they go to something else. It will be like this all day. But CNN was supposed to devote at least a whole program - an hour or more to these people at one time and they backed out.

So why did CNN change their mind of coverage?

I made the mistake of trying to drive uptown and started too late. First avenue blocked. Everything jammed. Couldn't find a garage nearby. My bad. This was the first freep I was going to attend. Next time I'll be better.

LOL - DUers are saying the government forced them too. What a crock!! I think CNN is afraid that if they show their true colors like they have been in the past they will not be very long on the air. They know the majority of Americans are FOR THE WAR and that the peaceniks are the minority. They know their liberal bias is what is ruining their ratings and I hope they will learn their lesson.

And C-SPAN is not covering the march either. Maybe Brian Lamb finally got fed up with covering these ragtag organizations and ignoring Patriot Rallies.

LOL - If you look on the newschannels (at least in New York right now)not one is covering the protests at this moment. Every once in a while they go to it as part of the news but nothing major. I was afraid that today it would be non-stop peacenik day but I am very happy about the coverage. Its very little. There is more on the internet newsites than on TV.

Are you saying that even local stations are not giving the march much coverage? I love it!

ANYONE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE RALLY IS TO GO TO 41ST and FIRST AVE. Ask any officer where the counter rally is.

I could hear Curtis Sliwa firing up our troops in the background. Doctor Raoul said about 50 freepers are braving the cold and had to get off the phone as someone just threw an egg over the balcony from an apartment building.

Fox chickie just said, "The anti-war sentiment isn't nearly as big as it appears in these pictures."

LOL!

Okay - I am flipping channels now. NO local newsstations are on until 11:00 tonight because its Saturday - some may do it at 5:00. Fox cable is doing Inspectors and the guy at the U.N. is not covering the protestors at all. MSNBC is doing inspectors too but will do a little on the protest in a few minutes. CNN is doing something about Navy Resources. CSPan is totally into their regular programing. Its just wonderful to watch TV.
