Good point. Maybe they were lying. Especially the person I've known for many years. Maybe they were lying when they told me about David slapping Clara around or hurting one of the twins bad enough for an emergency room visit. Or that right before David was supposedly going to cut the affair off with Gail Bridges David was acting like he had worked things out with Clara. Only to be playing lovey with Gail the next day at lunch.

They must have been kidding when they said that David was flaunting the affair in front of friends and employees while telling Clara it was all over. All while Clara was making their business bigger so David could have new toys to play with in his music room at the house.

People that did business with David must have been joking with me for some odd reason when they spoke about his screaming fits with people that worked for him. What a hot tempered SOB he was.

There sure was a lot of stuff swirling around. No matter. The jury has spoken.

She should have just dumped him and gotten her money. He sounds like a prick to be sure but,

I could have killed my ex-wife on these same grounds according to many (mainly lady) FReepers here.

Or if I had killed everyone who's pushed me, or slapped me, or humiliated me then I would need a graveyard the size of Rhode Island to plant them all in.

You ladies (and guys) need to wake up and listen to what you're saying here.....all this sympathy for a woman who killed her husband after knowing about the mistress for some time. Had she come home and caught them in bed and in a state of shock discovering this for the FIRST TIME and killed him or both of them with her LadySmith or the like then I myself would be more compassionate towards her.

If it's any consolation both my wife (very conservative) and my mom (fiscal conservative) are mushy on this.

I'm rethinking women's sufferage over this...lol
